Sean Devine is a playwright, actor, producer, and Co-Artistic Director of Horseshoes & Hand Grenades Theatre. An emerging Vancouver-based playwright, his first work Re:Union is being co-produced in Fall 2011 by Horseshoes & Hand Grenades Theatre and Pacific Theatre. Sean is also the playwright-in-residence at Vancouver’s Pi Theatre, where he is developing Except in the Unlikely Event of War, a new work slated for production in 2012/13. As a theatre actor he has worked for companies primarily in Vancouver and Montreal. He has appeared in several dozen films and television projects. He is also a grant-writer for several companies, and the producer of the Vancouver Celebrates Diwali Festival.
